The Emir of Ilorin and its environs, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari has advised indigenes of Ilorin Emirate Development Forum, United Kingdom branch to always remember the sons and daughters of whom they are while in the UK.

The Emir gave the advice while receiving representatives of the forum led by its Chairman, Dr. Babatunde Nasir at his Chelsea apartment, London on Saturday.

He charged them to be giving back to their families at home, enjoining them to inculcate the habit of helping their brothers and sisters at homes.
Dr Gambari noted that by giving back to their brothers and sisters back home, Allah, in His infinity mercy, will continue to support and assist them in all their chosen careers.

He added that taken care of their old parents must be their watch words, while relations, friends, and downtrodden people in the society should also benefit from their benevolence.

"Those who benefit from your good gesture will definitely pray for you and wish you well", the Emir said.

The royal father appealed to them to be good ambassadors of Ilorin  Emirate, Kwara State and Nigeria as a whole, calling on them to contribute their own quota to the growth and development of Ilorin Emirate.

"Please come home to establish companies to reduce the high rate of unemployed in the state, and especially in Ilorin", Dr Gambari pleaded.

Earlier in his address, General Secretary of the forum, Comrade Mohammed Yiosese thanked the Emir for the royal reception and promised, on behalf of others, to be law abiding Nigeria citizens in UK.

According to him, members of the forum have engaged on many free educational programmes and others human development projects in Ilorin.
He assured the Emir that members will redouble their commitment to bring succour to the masses.
