                                         Hajia Hawa Nurudeen Donating items to the School.

No fewer than 3,500 reading text books have been donated by a non governmental organization, based United Kingdom (BHAMSUSON organization) to pupils of primary schools at both Adeta ' A' LGEA and Apalara / Adewole LGEA schools in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State on Friday.

In her address during the presentation ceremony at the school premises, the organization board of trustee Vice Chairperson, Hajia Hawa Nurudeen disclosed that the organization is a non governmental organization based in United Kingdom to assist the less privileged pupils in Nigeria.

 She said "We have more brilliant pupils from poor background who could not afford to pay their children's school fees," adding that  the organization decided to support the children of downtrodden parents in the society by Provision of free relevant text books, school uniforms, school sandals, school fees and sporting T-shirts", she explained.

Hajia Nurudeen said that the organization had earlier sunk a hand pump bore hole for the use of pupils and the staff, adding that the neighboring communities are also enjoying the bore hole water.

The chairman of the occasion, the Education Secretary of Ilorin West Local Government, Mallam Abdulwahab Oniye appreciated the organization for the undeserved donation to the pupils of the schools.

He said only ingrates will not appreciate philanthropic gesture of this kind, urging the benefiting parents to guide and protect the books for their children.

Earlier in his welcome address, the Head Teachers of Adeta 'A' LGEA school, Mallam Issa Ayinde Jimoh on behalf of the pupils and the school management thanked the foundation for the laudable contribution.

He hoped that the books will enhance class rooms effectiveness for both pupils and the teachers, pointing out that the organization is highly commended for the kind gesture and it has entered into the book of record.

Giving closing remarks, the chairman of Adeta 'A' LGEA, Alhaji Bayo Magagi appreciated the organization for deeming it necessary to support the school with laudable contribution to make teaching and learning in the school more comfortable.

Present at occasion were the Present of old pupils of the school, Alhaji Alhaji Sheu Olose, the HOS / PRS, Ilorin West Local Government, Alhaji Omotayo, the Head Mistress of Adeta 'B' LGEA, Hajia Ajoke Sidiq, teachers and the pupils of the schools among others.
