Excitement as Olarongbe Gambari turbans as 7th Daudu of Bode-Saadu

It was great expression happiness for entire family, friends and well-wishers of Alhaji Aliyu Olarongbe Gambari during his turbaning ceremony as Daudu Bode Saadu, Lanwa and Jebba communities which took place at Emir's Palace Ilorin recently.
The memorable event was held under the peaceful atmosphere witnessed by eminent personalities from all walks of life including Magajis, Alanguas, Islamic clerics, friends, well-wishers and top government functionaries across the state and beyond.
Family members went into rapture dance and took to the streets from Emir's Palace to celebrant house at Princess road Centre Igboro area, Ilorin, the Kwara State capital Speaking with National Moonlight after the turbaning, the new Daudu of Bode Saadu, Alhaji Aliyu Olarongbe Gambari thanked the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Zulu Gambari the honour.
He appreciated all emirate king makers for choosing him among the best candidates for the position, promising to reciprocate the gesture through commitment, dedication to the service of his subjects.
He promised to bring rapid development to his people, calling on all education stakeholders to facilitate a private university to be sited at Bode Saadu, and also a Federal College of Education to be establish at Bode Saadu.
The seventh Daudu of Bode Saadu, solicited peace and cooperation for development, disclosing that he will liaise with the state government and commissioner for agriculture on the possible assistance on provision of tractors to farmers at cheaper rate.
He said he has intensified efforts in making sure that farmers in his areas are conveniently feed the state and the nation at large, hinted that adequate food security is guaranteed and all necessary security arrangement for lives and property will be put in place in the areas.
"I will summon the police, Civil Defence and Vigilante to maintain regular patrol in all our roads for safety of road users", he said. Speaking with NATIONAL MOOLIGHT, the eldest son of the celebrant, Alhaji Shuaib Olayinka Gambari, described his father as a loving man, who care for children, pointing out that it was through his philanthropist nature that many in the area acquired education.
He added that the new Daudu of Bode Saadu paid school fees, clothed, feeding and taken care of many less-privileged in the community. He advised him to take patient and urged people of the community to give the new Daudu maximum cooperation for needs rapid development.
Speaking on behalf of Magagis, the Magagi Nda of Ilorin, Alhaji Saliu Woru Mohammed also described the new Daudu of Bode Saadu as a very decent, mannerly and humble person with sound leadership quality who is intellectually qualified to occupy the position.
He charged him to be patient, dynamic and try as much as possible to reconcile his people for ever lasting peace and tranquility. In her elated mood, one of the family members of the celebrant, Hajia Biliks Sulyman, said the newly installed Daudu of Bode Saadu deserved the appointment going by his track records.
She said that the new Daudu is peace loving, honest, transparent, prudent in administration and good father whom every one want to associate with.
"He is a wonderful parent to all in the family, he does not discriminate, he derives joy in assisting others people during their trying period", she maintained.
